David and Goliath


As per the biblical story, the prophet Samuel looked for another lord from the children of Jesse of Bethlehem. Samuel analyzed seven of Jesse's children, however said to him, "The Lord has not picked these." Samuel asked if Jesse had another children. "There is still the most youthful", Jesse replied, alluding to David. Samuel said, "Send for him," and had him accumulated. At that point the Lord said, "Climb and anoint him; this is the one." So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him.

In a few interpretations Samuel states that Goliath was slaughtered by Elhanan child of Jair from Bethlehem.
